BUILT FORD TOUGH COMES STANDARD

We didn’t just go electric. We created a true, purpose-built work truck designed to get the job done, including the same intense torture-testing every F-150 goes through. We equipped it with inboard motors for enhanced durability and better protection from the elements and tough terrain, as well as a full-size spare tire. We also made sure it won’t quit on you by giving it a targeted EPA-estimated range above and beyond what you need in a typical workday. And we made sure that it had the towing and payload capacity that’s fit for the F-150 name.

BUILT FORD TOUGH

Sure, the F-150 Lightning Pro is all-electric. But it’s still all F-150. So we torture-tested it in conditions far more extreme than anything you might actually encounter in the real world. It’s been through salt baths, mud baths and desert heat. It’s been on roads so punishing we had no choice but to use robots to drive it. Then we enclosed the battery in a metal exo-structure and added metal skid plates to protect it. Finally we equipped it with two inboard motors. Because it’s only after all of this testing and more that we’re willing to give it the Built Ford Tough approval.

AVAILABLE TARGETED EPA-ESTIMATED RANGE OF 300 MILES

By leveraging more than 145 million miles of telematics data, we learned that for the average F-150 commercial customer in the U.S., 95% of their daily travel is less than 174 miles. We consequently designed F-150 Lightning Pro with two available targeted EPA-estimated range options of 230 and 300 miles.*

*Based on full charge. USA EPA-targeted range reflecting current status based on analytical projection consistent with US EPA combined drive cycle. Actual range varies with conditions such as external environment, vehicle use, vehicle maintenance, lithium-ion battery age and state of health. Final EPA-estimated ratings available in 2022 calendar year.

TARGETED 10,000 LBS. OF MAXIMUM TOWING CAPABILITY

Towing is part of the job. And like most jobs, the F-150 Lightning Pro has the muscle to get it done. Because it offers standard targeted 5,000 lbs. of towing power. Or, upgrade to the extended-range battery and Max Trailer Tow Package, and you can up your towing capability to a targeted 10,000 lbs.* *Max towing on Pro, XLT and LARIAT models with available extended-range battery and Max Trailer Tow Pkg. Max towing varies based on cargo, vehicle configuration, accessories and number of passengers.

TARGETED 2,000 LBS. OF MAXIMUM PAYLOAD CAPABILITY

Hauling dirt, bricks, wood and just about all your everyday gear and equipment is no problem. Because the F-150 Lightning Pro steps up to the plate with a targeted 2,000 lbs. of maximum payload.* *Max payload with standard-range battery and 18-inch wheels. Max payload varies and is based on accessories and vehicle configuration. See label on doorjamb for carrying capacity of a specific vehicle.

TARGETED 426 HP / 775 LB.-FT. OF TORQUE

We made sure the F-150 Lightning Pro brings the power. In fact it offers a targeted 426 horsepower and 775 lb-ft. of torque with the standard-range battery. And since the torque on electric vehicles is almost instant, you can get moving quickly even when you’re towing a heavy load. Or add the available extended-range battery and you get 563 horsepower. *Based on manufacturer testing using computer engineering simulations. Calculated via peak performance of the electric motor(s) at peak battery power. Your results may vary.

BENEFITS OF GOING ALL-ELECTRIC

From possible tax incentives to less scheduled maintenance the benefits of going electric can really add up for your business.

AS MUCH AS $7,500 IN FEDERAL TAX INCENTIVES

Depending on where you live, and your business tax situation, you may qualify for Federal, state and utility tax incentives for driving an all-electric vehicle.

LOWER SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE COSTS

Scheduled maintenance costs for the F-150 Lightning are estimated to be more than 40 percent less than the average scheduled maintenance costs for a gas-powered F-150 over 8 years/100,000 miles (whichever comes first). Estimated average maintenance costs per gas vehicle are $2,351, while the estimated average maintenance costs per electric vehicle are $1,344.*

*Scheduled maintenance costs compared to 2.7L EcoBoost® gas model based on recommended service schedule as published in the owner’s manual. Analysis reflects Ford Motor Company’s standard method for calculating scheduled maintenance cost, and reflects data available in 2020.

JUST AS EASY TO UPFIT

The F-150 Lightning Pro features the same 5.5 foot box as the gas model. Plus box, bed and attachment points are all the same. This makes upfitting just as easy as it has always been, and saves money because it requires no special modifications.
